We have received the Occupancy Certificate (OC) for Block 2 of Wonderwall and we’re proud to say that we’re one of the few builders in the vicinity to have received an OC so early on in the process.
With all the challenges faced by Covid, a faltering global economy, labour shortages and rising costs - we have persevered to deliver the block 2 of Wonderwall on time and with the OC now being received, we look forward to handing over the homes to our happy customers. The handover of the OC along with Khata certificates will be initiated soon!
An OC or occupancy certificate is a certificate issued by the municipal authorities permitting occupation of any building which has provision for civic infrastructure such as water, sanitation and electricity. Anyone intending to undertake development or redevelopment work is required to obtain permission from the municipal authorities. These applications for permission include measures proposed to be taken for hygiene, sanitation, drainage, regular electric and water supply and compliance with fire norms. After construction is completed, the municipal authorities scrutinize and verify whether the construction has been undertaken in accordance with sanctioned plans and whether the above measures for public health and safety have been provided for. Only after satisfying itself about the same does the municipal authority issue an OC. An OC is a certificate from the municipal authorities that the building is fit for human occupation, all necessary civil infrastructure is in place for the health and safety of the occupants and there is no foreseeable risk, damage or danger.
